The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released a notice regarding the recruitment of 708 posts for Constable (Male) in the HP Police Department. The notice, dated August 2, 2025, is based on the Objective Type Screening Test held on June 15, 2025.
A total of 1,343 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the next stage, which is Document Verification. The advertisement for these posts was published on October 4, 2024, with Advertisement No. 24/10-2024.
Candidates are instructed to bring the following original documents, along with a set of attested/self-attested photocopies, for the document verification process. The date for verification will be notified soon.
Required Documents:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Matriculation Certificate.
- 10+2 Certificate.
- NCC Certificate, if applicable.
- Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
- Online Recruitment Application Form.
- Category Certificates:
- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Ward of Freedom Fighter, Ward of Ex-SM, BPL, & Home Guard categories, if applicable.
- EWS or BPL certificates must be submitted along with a Non-SC/ST/OBC certificate.
- All certificates must be valid on the closing date of the Online Recruitment Application and on the day of document verification.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required for regular Government employees.
- Character Certificates: Two certificates issued by a Gazetted Officer.
